Privacy & terms

SettScribe (no account)

• Your tunes stay on your device. They are kept in your browser's own storage. TheSett does not store them, back them up or show them to anyone.
• To draw the music, the text of the tune you are editing is sent to TheSett's server, read, and forgotten. It is not saved or logged.
• No account, no tracking, no adverts. The only cookies are the ones the site needs to work (a security token for forms).
• Your browser may clear its storage after a while, or when space runs low. Download a .bww of anything you want to keep.

Band accounts

A band's music, setlists, members and calendar are kept for that band and seen only by its members. They are backed up so they are not lost. Band accounts are made by the band's own admins.

Terms

• Use only music you have the right to use. You are responsible for the tunes you open, write and share.
• SettScribe is free and offered as it is, with no guarantee. Keep your own copies of your work.
• Please do not use it to overload the site; requests are limited to keep it working for everyone.

TheSett.app and SettScribe are made by Andy Hatfield. See also Credits.
